Charged for a heavier parcel than usual?
SECND learns from your own returns what each product usually weighs, and what getting it back usually costs in each zone. A return fee charged at a heavier weight, or well above the usual, is flagged.
- Weight above usual
Charged for a heavier parcel than this product usually is.
1.5 kg, usually 0.5 kg - Fee above usual
Well above the usual return fee for this product and zone, at the same weight.
₹285, usually ₹119 - Fee with no return
A return fee on an order that was not returned.
₹119 on an order kept
Your dispute file
One click gives you the flags that Flipkart's own figures back up (the weight it charged, or a fee with no return) as Excel or CSV, to attach to your dispute. A fee that is only above your usual is listed for you to check first.
Fix it at the source
When most of a product's returns are weighed heavier than its listing says, SECND shows the two weights side by side. Correct the listing and the higher fee stops on future orders; a dispute only gets back fees already charged.
Example figures. A flag is a question to ask, not proof of a mistake.
What you upload
Two reports from Seller Hub.
Orders report .xlsx
Seller Hub › Reports Centre › Fulfilment Reports › Orders
Every order item, with its SKU and status.
Settlement report .xlsx
Seller Hub › Reports Centre › Payment Reports › Settled Transactions
Every settlement, fee and refund, with the zone and the weight each fee was charged at.
How to download both, in two short videos
The settlement report's zone and weight for every order are what make the return-fee checks possible. Drop the two reports in any order; SECND works out which is which.
Reconciliation
Which Flipkart orders were never paid?
Every order is matched to every payment made for it. If one is still unpaid 21 days after delivery, it moves to Overdue. After 25 days it goes in the file for your “payment not received” ticket.
- Day0
Delivered
- Day21
Still unpaid: Overdue in SECND
- Day25
In your ticket file
The ticket file lists each order's ID, SKU, dates, days unpaid and the payout to expect (an estimate, from what that product usually pays), as Excel or CSV.
Profit & Loss
What each Flipkart order really made.
SECND reads every fee in the settlement report: commission, fixed fee, collection fee, shipping, reverse shipping, GST on the fees, TCS and TDS. Add what each product costs you once, and you see the profit on every SKU after returns and RTOs.
Returns
A customer return takes back the sale and adds a reverse shipping fee. SECND adds up what each return cost, and shows the products that come back most.
Charges per order
Every deduction, per order, against the month before. One that went up is marked.
Questions Flipkart sellers ask.
How do I check Flipkart's return fees?
Download the orders report and the settlement report from Seller Hub and upload both to SECND. Every return fee is checked against what you usually pay for the same product and zone, and against the weight that product usually ships at. The ones well above are flagged.
What does SECND flag on Flipkart return fees?
Three things: a fee charged for a heavier parcel than the product usually is; a fee well above what you usually pay for the same product and zone; and a return fee on an order that was not returned. A flag is a question to ask, not proof of a mistake.
How do I dispute a Flipkart return fee?
Raise it with Flipkart Seller Support. SECND's dispute file lists the flagged fees that Flipkart's own figures back up, the weight it charged or a fee with no return, as Excel or CSV, so you can attach it. Fees that are only above your usual are listed for you to check first.
Why does one product keep getting charged at a higher weight?
If most of a product's returns are weighed heavier than its listing says, the listing weight is probably wrong. SECND shows the two side by side, so you can correct the listing in Seller Hub. That stops the higher fee on future orders; a dispute only gets back fees already charged.
Does SECND check the shipping fee on delivered orders?
Not yet. The checks look at return fees. The shipping fee on every delivered order is counted in that product's profit, and shipping per order is compared with the month before.
Which Flipkart reports does SECND read?
The orders report (Reports Centre › Fulfilment Reports › Orders) and the settlement report (Reports Centre › Payment Reports › Settled Transactions), both .xlsx. The settlement report carries the zone and the weight for every order, which is what the checks use.
When does SECND mark a Flipkart order unpaid?
When it is still unpaid 21 days after delivery, it moves to Overdue. After 25 days it goes in the ticket file for a “payment not received” ticket, with its order and item ID, SKU, dates, days unpaid and the payout to expect.
Does SECND need my Flipkart login?
No. You download the two reports yourself and upload them. SECND never logs in to your seller account.
How much does SECND cost?
It is free during early access, with no card needed. The plans are Starter at ₹699 a month and Pro at ₹1,999 a month.
