Questions

What fees does Flipkart charge sellers?

Five fees can apply to an order: commission, a fixed fee, a collection fee, a shipping fee, and a reverse shipping fee if the customer returns it. Flipkart adds 18% GST to its fees. TCS (0.5%) and TDS (0.1%) are also held back from each payout; those are taxes you claim back, not Flipkart's fees. Ads, fines and storage are charged separately.

What is Flipkart's commission rate in 2026?

Flipkart announced 0% commission on products priced under ₹1,000 in November 2025, and extended it to all fashion products at any price in July 2026. Shopsy is also 0% commission. Other products pay a category rate, which Flipkart shows in your rate card and does not publish (checked October 2026).

Is there a Flipkart commission fee chart?

Not a public one. Your own rates are in the rate card in Flipkart Seller Hub, and the commission actually charged is in the “Commission Rate (%)” and “Commission” columns of the settlement report. Charts on other websites are often out of date: some still list a commission for fashion, which Flipkart has removed.

What is the fixed fee on Flipkart?

A per-order fee that Flipkart charges on top of commission, even when commission is 0%. The amount depends on your seller tier and the price of the product, and Flipkart changes it from time to time. Yours is in your rate card and in the “Fixed Fee” column of the settlement report.

What are Flipkart's shipping charges for sellers?

The shipping fee depends on the chargeable weight of the parcel and the zone it travels: local, zonal or national. Flipkart does not publish the amounts. The settlement report shows the weight slab, the zone and the “Shipping Fee” for every order.

What are Flipkart's return charges for sellers?

When a customer returns an order, the sale is refunded and Flipkart charges a reverse shipping fee, plus 18% GST. The fee depends on the zone and the weight, so one seller can see several different amounts in a month. Yours is in the “Reverse Shipping Fee” column of the settlement report.

Is GST charged on Flipkart's fees?

Yes, 18%. In the settlement report it is the column “GST on MP Fees”, and it equals 18% of the Marketplace Fee on the row. If you have a GST number, you can claim it as input credit.

What are TCS and TDS on Flipkart payments?

TCS (tax collected at source, 0.5%) and TDS (tax deducted at source, 0.1%) are worked out on the sale before GST and held back from the payout. They are not a cost: TCS is claimed in your GST returns and TDS against your income tax.

Why is my Flipkart settlement less than the sale amount?

The row total, “Bank Settlement Value”, is the sale amount less your share of any discount, the Marketplace Fee, the taxes (TCS, TDS and GST on the fees) and any refund. A returned order takes back the sale and adds a reverse shipping fee. Ads and fines come off separately.

Where do I see the fees on each order?

In the settlement report from Flipkart Seller Hub, on the “Orders” sheet. Each fee has its own column, and the Marketplace Fee column is their total.
