Meesho charges the return fee by weight, so yours may not be ₹175. It is the “Return Shipping Charge” column in your payment file. RTOs carry no return fee.

Three things can happen to an order

It is delivered

You are paid the listing price, less the shipping you bear. Your product cost, GST, packaging and ads come out of that. This is the only parcel that earns.

It comes back as an RTO

The customer never accepted it. Meesho charges no return shipping fee for RTOs. You get the product back, and lose the packaging and the ad spend.

The customer returns it

You get the product back and pay a return shipping fee, charged by weight. On a low-priced product, one return can wipe out the profit from several delivered orders.

All Meesho seller charges, and where they are in your payment file

This is what you should make. What did Meesho pay?

The calculator works from the numbers you type. SECND reads your Meesho order and payment files and shows what was deducted on every order, which orders were never paid, and what each SKU made after returns.

Questions

How do I calculate profit on Meesho?

Start with one delivered order: listing price, minus the product cost, the GST you owe, the shipping you bear, packaging and ads. Then count the orders that come back. An RTO earns nothing and you lose the packaging and ad spend. A customer return also costs the return shipping fee. Add it all up over 100 orders shipped and divide by 100. That is your real profit per order, and it is what this calculator shows.

Is this Meesho price calculator free?

Yes. There is no signup and no limit. The sums are done in your browser, so the prices and costs you type are not sent to us.

Does Meesho charge commission?

Meesho's pricing page says it charges 0% commission in all categories (checked October 2026). The calculator starts at 0%. If your account is charged a commission or platform fee, type the percentage in and 18% GST is added to it.

What does an RTO cost a Meesho seller?

Meesho says it does not charge a return shipping fee for RTOs (checked October 2026). You still lose the packaging and whatever you spent on ads to get the order, and the stock is out of your hands until it comes back. The calculator counts packaging and ads for every RTO.

What are Meesho's return charges for sellers?

When a customer returns an order, Meesho charges the seller a return shipping fee based on the weight of the shipment. It does not publish the amounts. Yours is in the payment file, in the column "Return Shipping Charge (Incl. GST)". The calculator starts at ₹175 as an example; replace it with your own figure.

Why is Meesho's shipping charge different on every order?

Meesho adds a shipping amount to the price the customer sees, and separately deducts a shipping charge from your payout. Both change from order to order, and they are not always equal. There is no single rate to look up, so the calculator asks for the amount you end up bearing. To find it, take the "Shipping Charge (Incl. GST)" column in your payment file and compare it with what the customer paid above your listing price.

What price should I set on Meesho to make a profit?

The calculator shows a break-even listing price: the price at which 100 orders shipped make exactly nothing, after RTOs and returns. Anything above it is profit. If your return rate is high, the break-even price is well above your product cost plus shipping, which is why a per-order margin on its own is misleading.

How does the calculator treat GST, TCS and TDS?

Prices are entered with GST, as Meesho shows them. If you have a GST number, the GST inside your selling price is owed and the GST inside your product cost is taken as credit at the same rate. Credit for GST on Meesho's own charges is not counted, so the result is slightly low rather than high. TCS (0.5%) and TDS (0.1%) are held back from each payout and claimed later, so they are shown separately and not treated as a cost.

Can I use it if I sell on Meesho without GST?

Yes. Switch off "I have a GST number". Nothing is taken out for GST and your product cost is counted in full.

Is this what Meesho will actually pay me?

No. It is an estimate from the numbers you type. What Meesho actually paid, order by order, is in your payment file. SECND reads that file and shows what was deducted on each order and what you made on each SKU.
