The customer never accepted it. You get the product back, and lose the packaging and the ad spend. Check your payment report for any fee kept on these orders.
The sale is refunded and you get the product back, but you still bear the closing and shipping fees of the order. Amazon may charge a fee on the refund as well; check a returned order in your payment report.

Checked October 2026 against Amazon's fees and pricing page, which has the full referral, closing and shipping fee tables. Amazon can change these; the fee preview in Seller Central and your payment report are the final word.
Amazon's own formula is: profit = selling price, minus referral fee, closing fee, shipping (weight handling) fee, other fees and product cost. This calculator does that for one delivered order, adds the 18% GST on fees and the GST on the sale, and then counts the orders that come back. An order that is never accepted earns nothing and still costs packaging and ad spend. A customer return costs those and the order's closing, shipping and other fees as well. The result is your profit per order across 100 orders shipped.
Yes. There is no signup and no limit. The sums are done in your browser, so the prices and fees you type are not sent to us.
The referral fee is a percentage of the selling price that depends on the product category. Amazon lists zero referral fee on over 12.5 crore products, and many categories are 0% for products priced at ₹1,000 or less (checked October 2026). Amazon's own example: Apparel for Baby at ₹1,450 with a 7% referral fee is ₹101.50. The full table by category is on Amazon's fees and pricing page.
A fixed fee per order, on top of the referral fee. It depends on the price band and on how the order is fulfilled: FBA, Easy Ship, Self Ship or Seller Flex. Amazon's examples for Easy Ship are ₹2 for an item sold at ₹299 and ₹23 for one sold at ₹450. Amazon raised closing fees on 7 September 2026 (checked October 2026).
With Easy Ship, Amazon charges a shipping (weight handling) fee by weight, in 500 g steps, and by distance: local within a city, regional within a region, or national across regions. The minimum chargeable weight for standard items is 500 g. Amazon's examples: ₹55 for a 350 g item, and ₹180 for a 3.5 kg item. A closing fee and the referral fee apply as well, and 18% GST is added to all three.
Yes, for Amazon India. Enter the FBA closing fee and shipping fee for your product, and put pick and pack and storage in “Other Amazon fees”. Amazon lists pick and pack from ₹17 a unit for standard items up to 1 kg, and storage at ₹50 per cubic foot a month. It does not cover Amazon's marketplaces in other countries.
Yes. Amazon shows all its fees before GST and adds 18%. The calculator adds it for you. If you have a GST number you can claim that GST as input credit; the calculator does not count the credit, so its result is slightly low rather than high.
The sale is refunded, and you still bear the closing, shipping and other fees of the order, with 18% GST. The calculator counts those on every return, along with the packaging and ad spend. Amazon may also charge a fee on the refund. Its fee page does not publish that amount, so the "Extra fee on a return" box starts at zero: open a returned order in your payment report and type what you see. The referral fee is not counted as lost; if your report shows it kept, add it to the extra fee.
The selling price and product cost are entered with GST. If you have a GST number, the GST inside your selling price is owed and the GST inside your product cost is taken as credit at the same rate. TCS (0.5%) and TDS (0.1%) are held back from each payout and claimed later, so they are shown separately and not treated as a cost.
No. It is an estimate from the numbers you type. Amazon's fee preview in Seller Central gives the fees for a specific product, and your payment report shows what was actually paid.
